Our Newark Farm projects would not be successful without the commitment of numerous volunteers rolling up their sleeves and digging in. Help our team care for plants that help our community flourish! SWAG Project in particular relies on people like YOU to operate and care for the community farm.

We invite you to be part of the SWAG family of volunteers and friends.

Be part of our vision: a diverse, healthy and dynamic community! SWAG present fresh organic greens from the farm as special thanks for your help. Take home some fresh vegetables this season! Meet great people and have fun in the fresh air!

Volunteer hours are every Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 12-3pm. You must RSVP to volunteer. Please Contact Sharif at Elzeinsharif@gmail.com. You may also sign up on Jersey Cares website – sometimes we are listed under “Plant it Forward”

Please bring proper garden attire. This includes sneakers or boots (no sandals or flip-flops please); also pants, comfortable shirt preferably with sleeves (even in warmer weather), hat or head/neck covering. Bring your own sunblock and bug spray if you need it. We supply gloves and tools.

Thank you so much to Jersey Cares for sending us superb and vital volunteers all year long!
